Getting up late one morning is normal.

Be okay with that.

Lying, crying, and loathing yourself for it is also normal.

Be afraid of that.

Get up and make the best out of the day, instead.

Having a list of things at the start of your workday is normal.

Be okay with that.

Picking the easiest ones and doing them first is normal.

Be afraid of that.

Eat the frog first.

Feeling tired/bored after an hour or two is normal.

Be okay with that.

Taking out your phone for a ‘break’ is also normal.

Be afraid of that.

Get off the desk, instead.

Coming across something ‘insightful’ or ‘interesting’, and sharing it is normal.

Be okay with that.

Finding something ‘offensive’ or ‘inciteful’ and making a long comment on it is also normal.

Be afraid of that.

Save it for later, or ignore it (best), instead.

Talking to someone and not agreeing with something is normal.

Be okay with that.

Disagreeing and getting into an argument to prove them wrong is also normal.

Be afraid of that.

Try to understand, empathise, or ignore, instead.

Feeling low, unmotivated, and less hopeful is normal.

Be okay with that.

Chasing a kick of dopamine – sugar, entertainment, or anything addictive is also normal.

Be afraid of that.

Go explore astronomy, reach out to someone you admire, instead.

Worrying about something serious is normal.

Be okay with that.

Worrying about a lot of things non-stop is also normal.

Be afraid of that.

Write things down, take a short walk, have a sip (water 😊), and have a nap (if possible), instead.

You understand the problem too well, that is normal.

Be okay with that.

You know the solution as well, that is also normal.

Be afraid of that.

Go act on it instead.
